Police in Rochester, N.H., say a 7-year-old girl has died of injuries suffered in a crash on Route 202.
The accident happened about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. Madison Weeks was a passenger in a car being driven by her mother, 31-year-old Lori Weeks of Strafford.
Lori Weeks lost control of the car and skidded into oncoming westbound traffic, crashing into another car.
Police said Madison was taken to Maine Medical Center, where she died of her injuries.
The crash remains under investigation, but authorities said slick road conditions likely played a role.
