Leon Haas was driving south on Route 108 when he lost control of his 2009 Harley Davidson FXDC and collided with a car that was stopped at the traffic lights in front of a Shaw’s supermarket around 2:02 p.m., police said.

A 61-year-old Merrimack man was killed in a motorcycle crash Monday afternoon in Stratham, state police said.
Leon Haas was driving south on Route 108 when he lost control of his 2009 Harley Davidson FXDC and collided with a car that was stopped at the traffic lights in front of a Shaw’s supermarket around 2:02 p.m., police said.
The driver of the car, 44-year-old Kyle Smith of Newfields, was not injured.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
