Pa. motorcyclist dies in New York State crash involving another Pa. driver

The motorcycle rider, identified as Auburn Lyons, 43, of South Gibson, Pa., crashed into the turning car and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to AP.
A deadly car-on-motorcycle crash in New York State on Sunday involved a pair of drivers from Pennsylvania. According to the Associated Press, the crash happened in Apalachin, New York, located about 12 miles west of Binghamton, when the car appeared to make a left turn in front of the oncoming motorcycle, police said. The motorcycle rider, identified as Auburn Lyons, 43, of South Gibson, Pa., crashed into the turning car and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to AP. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Donald Ulmer, 71, of Little Meadows, Pa. The accident happened on state Route 434 on Sunday afternoon. New York State Troopers said their investigation is continuing. No charges have been filed as yet.
