Bradley Zaryki, 45, arrest for DUI, other charges, after crashing his car into a guardrail in Akron and trying to escape on foot.

Akron Police said a man crashed his car drunk and then hid in a drain pipe in Akron Saturday.

Bradley Zaryki, 45, of Cuyahoga Falls, was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, failure to stop after an accident and failure to control.

Police said they responded to a report of a one-car crash at East Cuyahoga Falls Avenue and Front Street in Akron after a northbound car swerved off the right side of Front Street and drive through a guardrail just south of the Cuyahoga River.

Police said he fled on foot, but officers and paramedics found him hiding in a large drainage pipe nearby.
