Dilon J. Uhl 20, killed, Jacob L. Miller 19, injured when their car loses control and strikes two trees.

A 20-year-old Lancaster man has died after a crash Wednesday evening.

At about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, troopers were called to a crash on Clearport Road south of Hamburg Road.

According to a report, 19-year-old Jacob L. Miller, of Lancaster, lost control of his vehicle while driving southbound on Clearport Road. The vehicle hit two trees.

Miller sustained minor injuries.

Miller's passenger, 20-year-old Dilon J. Uhl, was severely injured. Uhl was taken to a Columbus hospital by medical helicopter, where he died Thursday afternoon.

Troopers said neither Miller nor Uhl were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

The crash is under investigation.
