Two men died Friday after a head-on collision on U.S. 183 in Custer County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported. About 4:50 p.m., Shaun Elston, 24, of Clinton, was driving south about two miles north of Arapaho when his vehicle hit the back a vehicle driven by Kenn Sipe, 70, of Gage. The car Elston was driving then went into a northbound lane and collided with a vehicle driven by Gary Cordes, 60, of Minot, N.D. Elston and Cordes died at the scene. A 13-year-old passenger in Cordes’ car was flown to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Sipe was not injured. All but Cordes were wearing seat belts, troopers said.
