Brian J. Neeley, 54, crashed lumber truck on Umpqua River bridge, causing truck to hang above waterway near Salem, Oregon

The truck and trailer were left hanging over the bridge railing above the waterway after the crash. The load the truck was carrying spilled over the railing, and an estimated 100 gallons of diesel leaked into the river. Sheridan was cited for careless driving and failing to drive within a lane, and was then taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
