Drummond was driving on State Route 981 when he crashed head-on into a truck. Drummond was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital with multiple injuries, though no further information is currently known about his injuries.
The crash occurred around 3 p.m. at the overpass of Route 66. Mr. Keener was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later. His wife was also taken to the hospital, although the extent of her injuries was not released.
Charges are pending against Scott Stettler after he struck two Lebanon County homes while fleeing police. After crashing through the wall of a home, Stettler was transported to Penn State Hershey Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
It's believed that O'Shea had a heart attack immediately preceding the crash. Bystanders found the woman unresponsive after the crash. Fortunately, no pedestrians were along the busy sidewalk at the time of the crash, or more victims could have been involved.
Police said the driver reported seeing what appeared to be an object in the road and swerved, but was unable to avoid hitting what turned out to be a man. The driver stopped and called 911, but David Pedder of North Huntingdon Township was pronounced dead at the scene.
