Philadelphia Police have identified the South Philadelphia man who died after his SUV careened off a pier on Penn's Landing last evening.

Marc Oliverio, 25, was speeding his black 2011 Volkswagen Tiguan down an off-ramp on Chestnut Street around 6 p.m. on Monday when the car left the road, crossed a small grass patch, crashed through a metal fence and plunged into the Delaware River, police said.

Two people are dead following a major crash at the Hellam Exit of Route 30 in York County.

The crash happened around 2 p.m. Tuesday. It involved multiple vehicles on the westbound ramp of Route 30 at Frysville Road.

Authorities tell News 8 that for an unknown reason, a construction van veered into the right westbound lane and rear-ended a pickup truck.

Officials identified two men who were struck and killed by a freight train in Lehigh County Monday afternoon.

Inivestigators say 24-year-old Padraic Cremins and 22-year-old Timothy Dadario, both of Allentown, were crossing a set of railroad tracks on the 1500 block of Chestnut Street in Upper Milford Township around 3:30 p.m.

As they were walking, they were both struck by a Norfolk Southern Train that was passing through.

A York County motorcyclist has been identified as the victim of Sunday morning's fatal crash on Route 30 in Lancaster County's West Hempfield Township.

The Lancaster County coroner said Stephen Elicker, 29, of Spring Grove, died at the scene of the 2:13 a.m. accident, according to published reports. Another 26-year-old motorcyclist from Seven Valleys was severely injured in the crash, police said.

A woman was killed and a man injured when their motorcycle crashed Saturday morning on Interstate 90 in Springfield Township, police said.

The crash occurred at about 10:35 a.m. in the eastbound lanes near mile marker 5.

State police at Girard identified the victim as Wendy C. Bradley, 42, of Akron, N.Y. She was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

Police said Bradley was a passenger on a motorcycle driven by Michael P. Bradley, 55, of Akron, N.Y.

The man who was killed in a crash on Interstate 81 in Franklin County earlier Tuesday morning was identified as a Virginia man by state police.

Steven Lee Winfrey, 51, of Roanoke, Virginia, was killed when his tractor-trailer veered off the roadway Exit 10 for Route 914 in Guilford Township on northbound I-81 in Franklin County just before 5 a.m. The truck crashed into a cement storm drain and burst into flames, according to previous reports from state police.

State Trooper Frederick Schimp was driving a Pennsylvania State Police Ford Explorer patrol unit at 3:30 a.m. Saturday when he failed to stop at a stop sign in Erie County, Pa. The resulting accident killed the woman whose car ran into the trooper's vehicle as it rolled through the stop sign.

But a state police spokesman said the trooper and a partner in the state police unit weren't responding to a call at the time of the crash. All this, according to the Erie Times-News.

The passenger of a pickup was killed Friday night after the vehicle tried to pass a car on rural Gum Tree Road, hit it, ran down an embankment and overturned into a farm field.

State police said Courtney Taylor, 23, of Lincoln University, was identified as the passenger.

An unidentified 16-year-old in the back seat was taken to A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington for treatment of injuries. His condition was not released.

The York County Coroner's Office has released the name of the woman who died Saturday after a train crashed into a car in Newberry Township.

Cori Elizabeth Sisti, 23, of New Cumberland, was pronounced dead at the scene of the fatal accident, according to the coroner's office.

An autopsy is scheduled to be performed Monday to determine the manner and cause of death.

A female driver was killed in a crash on Route 55 in Deptford Township late Wednesday afternoon, according to a report from Channel 6 Action News in Philadelphia.

The crash happened around 4 p.m. June 2, according to the report, in the southbound lanes of Route 55 below the Deptford Mall.

The victim was identified as Jamie Irvin, 24, who was reportedly pronounced dead after the vehicle she was driving left the roadway and struck a tree.
