A 55-year-old construction worker was killed Monday morning at a job in Windsor Township, York County.
A 55-year-old construction worker was killed Monday morning at a job in Windsor Township, York County. Police identified the victim as Benedict Todt, of Gardeners, Adams County. Todt was working at the Red Lion Water Authority pumping facility at 500 Gebhart Rd. when the accident happened around 11 a.m. "The facility is undergoing an expansion project and a worker was installing an electrical switch gear box when it fell, trapping him beneath it. The box was approx. 7 feet by 4 feet in size, weighed in excess of 2000 lbs. and was not connected to any electricity at the time," a news release from the York Area Regional Police Department stated.
