Pennsylvania woman killed in crash in Adirondacks

The Warren County Sheriff's Office says a 50-year-old Brant Lake man was driving a pickup truck on Route 8 around 2:30 p.m. Thursday when a car failed to yield the right of way after passing through an intersection in Chester. The pickup hit the car, heavily damaging both vehicles. Officers say the car was driven by 52-year-old David Sherwood of Wellsboro in Tioga County, Pennsylvania. 
A Pennsylvania woman has died in a two-vehicle crash on an Adirondack road. Judith Sherwood was taken to Glens Falls Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. David Sherwood declined medical treatment, and the driver of the pickup and his passenger were treated for minor injuries. The accident is under investigation.
