East Meighan Boulevard

A traffic accident on East Meighan Boulevard claimed the life of a Gadsden man this afternoon. A motorcycle driven by 22-year-old Carl Waldrop was traveling east, when it collided with a Lexus SUV on the passenger side. The SUV was coming off Litchfield Avenue attempting to turn onto Meighan. 

An early morning train derailment near Gadsden's Goodyear Tire and Rubber Plant tangled traffic for several hours along East Meighan Boulevard.
