Mon, 03/23/2015John Preyer, 61, from Manteca, died in a crash between a GMC truck and a Nissan Altima on Highway 1 near Green Oaks Way at approximately 5:40 p.m. Monday. Two other people were injured and were taken to Stanford Hospital. Their current conditions have not been reported.

Mon, 12/02/2013Stephen Gniech, 59, of Heavener was driving a pickup east on State Highway 1 about five miles west of Talahina in Latimer County when he ran off the road about 2:40 p.m., Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers said.
The pickup rolled once. Gniech was pronounced dead at the scene.
