Police say 50-year-old Phillip McLemore of Adamsville passed several vehicles that were stopped by warning devices due to an oncoming train Tuesday. Police said one of the stopped vehicles was a tractor-trailer that blocked McLemore's view of the Nashville & Eastern Railroad train. Police said when McLemore saw the oncoming locomotive, he lost control of the motorcycle and hit the train.
