Authorities are looking for the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident early Tuesday morning.
Deputies responded to the 7000 block of FM 1960 around 3:30 a.m. after witnesses reported seeing a woman's body in the middle of the road.
As of Tuesday morning, investigators hadn't released any information regarding the woman's identity, and they said it's still not clear why she was in the middle of the road.
Detectives closed FM 1960 and diverted traffic while they conducted their investigation. All lanes of FM 1960 reopened shortly before 8 a.m.
