Peter Thomas Hodo, 21, of Birmingham, was identified as the deceased following a single-car accident on County Highway 41, also known as Dunnavant Valley Road, south of Hugh Daniel Drive in Mt. Laurel, Shelby County, Alabama. A passenger was taken to a local hospital for treatment after firefighters removed the victims from the car.
