5 children, 2 adults injured in Birmingham wreck

One adult suffered an arm fracture, and one adult suffered a leg fracture. Two adults and five children were injured Friday morning in a wreck. The children in the minivan ranged in age from infants to 6 years old. The minivan swerved to miss the cars, careened into a parking lot and crashed onto a concrete piling. The accident was reported around 8:15 a.m. on Third Avenue North and Sixth Place North.
