Two people have died following a two-vehicle wreck in Blountsville on Monday, according to Trooper Chuck Daniel.

Authorities have not released any details about the person who was killed.

Trooper Curtis Summerville says Erin Elizabeth Drake, 19, of Oneonta was killed when her vehicle collided head-on with a vehicle driven by Stevie Ann Thompson, 24, of Blountsville. 
Officials are saying that two people are dead following a 2-vehicle wreck on County Road 47 west of Blountsville. Three children were taken to Children's of Alabama, two by ambulance and one by helicopter. We'll update this post as more information is received.
