Morris man, 26, ejected and killed in Hoover wreck

Hoover Police Captain Gregg Rector said traffic investigators are reconstructing the wreck to determine the cause.

Hoover police say a 26-year-old man was killed in an early morning wreck on .

At approximately 3:20 am Tuesday, Andrew Ray Jones of Morris was driving a 1999 Jeep Wrangler eastbound when the Jeep hit the guardrail on the Shades Creek Bridge on John Hawkins Parkway between Lake Cyrus Boulevard and Ross Bridge Parkway. The vehicle overturned, and Jones was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. No other cars or individuals were involved in the wreck.
