Eric Gerod Brooks was driving his Ford Explorer on Mcaon County 3 when his vehicle left the roadway and overturned. He was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle, and died at the scene. Brooks had reportedly refused to pull over after a State Trooper attempted to stop him for a traffic violation.
