Russell County crash kills two from Seale

Baker and Lancour were not wearing seat belts and died as a result of the crash, according to state investigators.

The single-vehicle accident happened around 4:30 p.m. Sunday on Boswell Road west of Phenix City. Jerry Wayne Baker II and Dakota James Lancour, both of Seale, died when the 1997 Chevrolet Camaro they were passengers in departed the roadway and they were ejected. Neither was wearing a seatbelt. The driver, Mathew Nevels, 20, suffered unknown injuries.
