Ozark man killed in overnight truck crash

An Ozark man has died following a single-vehicle crash early Friday morning, according to Alabama State Troopers. Dale County Coroner Woodrow Hillboldt pronounced Kiger dead on the scene along Dale County 36. James Andrew Kiger, 40, was driving his 2005 Ford pickup truck when it hit a guardrail and overturned around 1:15 a.m. The cause of the crash is ongoing. An investigation shows Kiger was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Former Auburn football player killed in Dale County crash

Former Auburn Tiger football player James Kiger died following a single-vehicle crash early Friday morning, according to Alabama State Troopers.
