The deputy tried to pull Devance over on U.S. 31, but he fled and headed east on Interstate 565. The pursuit continued into Huntsville, with Huntsville police officers and Madison County deputies joining the chase. Reaching speeds of up to 115 miles per hour, Devance ran multiple red lights during the chase, Young said.
