Identity of man killed in Friday night wreck released

Officials have identified Jackson Morgan Blair, 22, as the man killed in the wreck. The wreck occurred at 5:52 p.m.on Harvest Road, eight miles north of Athens. According to police the car was traveling westbound on Harvest Road and appears to have run a stop sign into the path of a pickup traveling southbound on East Limestone Road. A two-vehicle crash in Toney left one dead and one injured Friday night. Blair was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado when he collided with a 2005 Ford Taurus driven by Cayla Jade Whitt, 23, of Athens.
