On Thursday, May 21, a single-vehicle crash on Lauderdale County Road Eight, claimed the life of a Florence man.
Last Thursday, 45-year-old Charles Evans Baskins died when the 2005 Chevrolet Silverado he was driving left the roadway and struck an embankment. Baskins was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital where he died later than night.
