Leeds woman killed in Monday car accident outside Fort Payne.

A Leeds woman was killed in a single-vehicle accident in DeKalb County about 12:15 a.m. Monday.

A Leeds woman was killed in a single-vehicle accident in DeKalb County about 12:15 a.m. Monday.

Alabama State Troopers said Jessica Teat, 27, died from injuries after her vehicle left Interstate 59 at the 214 mile marker four miles south of Fort Payne.

The car then struck a concrete drain, coming to a stop, according to a news release.

Troopers are investigating.
