A car crash involving a black mini-van and a white car took place on Monday afternoon. The cars collided on Interstate 565. Five people were transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Huntsville police have blocked off two lanes on I-565 eastbound next to exit 15 and the Space and Rocket Center. The accident remains under investigation.
