Pedestrian killed in deadly collision; police locate vehicle
Shortly after the incident, police located the vehicle, a truck, in the Pizza Hut parking lot with two adults and two kids inside. The people inside of the truck called 911 to alert authorities of what had happened.
Pedestrian hit, killed on University Drive in Huntsville
Witnesses on the scene said a man was trying to walk across University Drive and was struck by a vehicle. Police confirm the man died after being taken to Huntsville Hospital.
Police identified him as Louie Edward Biggs, 55, of Huntsville.
