Alabama State Troopers on Friday were investigating what caused a 2002 Chevy Suburban to leave the roadway and overturn, killing one woman on Thursday night.
Fatal Accident
The crash happened in Clarke County, Ala., just before 10 p.m. Thursday. Veronica Pugh Dixon was killed in the crash which occurred not far from where she lived in the city of Jackson, Ala.

The accident happened on Clarke County Road 3 about six miles north of Jackson, when Dixon veered off the road and the vehicle she was driving overturned. She was declared dead at the scene. She was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
