FedEx truck driver killed in I-85 crash
The crash was one of two separate incidents that happened around the same time and area. Another crash involving a tractor trailer happened when the vehicle skidded into the median between the north and southbound lanes at the Shorter exit. That crash did not involve any serious injuries.

Shortly before 5:00am, Ellzey was driving a FedEx 2006 International truck on I-85 when he struck a car with at least three people in it. The driver and two passengers in the car were injured, though to what extent is not yet known, while Ellzey was pronounced dead after being brought to a hospital. We will update this accident as more information is released and investigation continues.
