Police say the Brambletts were in a 2017 Toyota Highlander that was hit from behind by a 16-year-old male driver in a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Police Report: Teen Driver Says He Fell Asleep Before Wreck that Killed Brambletts

According to the Auburn Police Dept. report, the teenage boy told officers he fell asleep while driving and did not remember what happened. His name was not released in the report. 

CRASH REPORT: Teen driver accelerating to 91 mph at time of deadly Bramblett Crash

Per Alabama Criminal Code 12-15-204; Taylor was charged as an adult and taken into custody at his residence in Auburn on Monday. Taylor was booked into the Lee County Detention Facility where he posted a $50,000 bond and was released.
