Greenville woman killed in weekend car crash

Brandy Boutwell, 38, was killed when her 2012 Ford Mustang left the roadway as she was driving down Butler County Road 17. Boutwell was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle as it overturned. Alabama State Troopers say their preliminary investigation indicates alcohol as a factor in the crash, which happened around 1:20 a.m. approximately six miles north of Georgiana.
