Deatsville mom, 4-year-old child killed in collision on U.S. 31 near Prattville

Four occupants in the Chevrolet were injured and were transported to local hospitals.  The severity of their injuries wasn't released.

2 killed in Autauga County crash

A fatal crash has led to traffic backups on a stretch of U.S. 31 in Autauga County.
It was approximately 3:50 p.m. when 30-year-old Floridalma Ramos Morales was driving a car north on U.S. 31, and collided head-on with a pickup truck. Morales' son, identified as Darwin Sarceno, 4, was not properly buckled in and was thrown from the vehicle. Both him and his mother have been pronounced dead. A 1-year-old, 5-year-old, 12-year-old, and woman that were in the pickup truck were transported to various hospitals with potentially critical injuries.
