Man on sidewalk struck and killed by SUV, police say
Anchorage police said the man was killed after being hit by a Ford Expedition just after noon Tuesday. The man was on the sidewalk, and the SUV was seen "driving recklessly" and heading southbound, police said.

According to APD, Winter was killed while rollerblading on the sidewalk of Cordova Street between 9th and 10th Avenues when he was struck by black Ford Expedition driven by Francis.
