Shots fired after vehicle collision; one person arrested.

The Flagstaff Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a vehicle involved in a crash in which gunshots were fired.

Flagstaff police arrested an Avondale man and were looking for the driver of a pickup truck after a collision and shooting Sunday night.

Stephen Nolan, 45, was arrested and booked into the Coconino County Jail after he told officers he fired the shots at an older model Nissan-type pickup truck after they collided, a police spokesman said.

Officers found Nolan just before 7 p.m. sitting in his Chevrolet truck, which he had pulled off the roadway, the spokesman said.

Officers said the Nissan-type truck was dark in color, had a white camper shell and might have front-end damage and bullet holes on the driver's side.
