Woman killed in head-on collision with alleged drugged driver on Glendale Avenue in Glendale, Arizona

Authorities are investigating a vehicle wreck that killed one elderly woman early Saturday afternoon when a vehicle heading westbound on Glendale Avenue crossed the median and crashed head-on with an eastbound vehicle. The driver of the cross-over vehicle was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.  A Vehicular Crimes Unit Drug Recognition Expert assessed the driver and observed symptoms consistent with drug use.
