Marvin Thompson, 53, killed in crash involving disabled vehicle on Interstate 40 in Kingman, Arizona

Thompson parked his Jeep partially on the freeway about 12 miles east of the California border about 3:15 a.m, Department of Public Safety Sgt. Tim Case said. While standing beside the vehicle, a westbound semitrailer hit Thompson and the Jeep, Case said. Thompson was killed.
