Collision between school bus and semi-trailer in Paulden, Arizona leaves 2 children and semi driver injured

2 children injured in school bus crash with semi-truck in Paulden, Ariz.

A total of eight children were in the bus at the time of the accident; two were taken to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. The other six children were released from the scene to their parents and the bus driver was also released without injuries. 

Both vehicles were heavily damaged. Authorities said the driver of the semi sustained serious injuries and was treated and taken to a Flagstaff hospital, but she was wearing her seatbelt and was able to get out of the cab of the truck on her own before rescue crews arrived. The accident is being investigated.
