Pedestrian killed in wreck near downtown Phoenix
Phoenix police reported at about 2:45 p.m. that the pedestrian had died from injuries suffered in the collision.
A pedestrian was struck t about 2 p.m. near Central Avenue and Thomas Road. He was transported to an area hospital with injuries that proved to be fatal. Light rail service in the area was delayed due to the accident. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
