A man is in extremely critical condition after being hit by a vehicle Monday evening, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.
Phoenix police are investigating the incident, which occurred near Northern and 35th avenues.
Sgt. Jonathan Howard said the man ran into the roadway mid-block and was struck by a vehicle.
