Reward offered in road rage crash that killed county worker

A $10,000 cash reward has been posted for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the driver behind a suspected road rage crash that killed a worker in the Maricopa County Attorney's Office.

“Our hearts and prayers are with Sonya's family during this difficult time,” said Montgomery. “Our grief is deepened by the knowledge that her death may have been the result of a criminal act.”
Sonya Coronado was driving on Interstate 17 when a silver pickup truck pulled alongside her and the driver made an obsene hand gesture. He then pulled into her lane in front of her SUV, forcing her onto the median where she lost control of the vehicle and it skid off the roadway and overturned several times. She was arilifted to John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital where she died two weeks later from head trauma. Yavapai Silent Witness is asking people with any information to call detectives at 1-800-932-3232.
