A motorcyclist died Sunday evening after colliding with a vehicle on Highway 89 in Prescott, according to police.

Meryl Austin, 69, of Prescott, was heading north on Highway 89 at around 6 p.m. when a southbound vehicle turned left in front of him. Austin collided with the vehicle. Austin was taken to Yavapai Regional Medical Center West in Prescott where he was pronounced deceased soon thereafter.
