Pond was pronounced dead at the scene, Pooley said
Joseph Stanley Pond, 81, was killed Friday evening after being hit by a truck. Pond was waiting a bus stop when he got up, walked down the road, and was struck by the truck driving by. We will update this story as more information becomes available
