Tempe crash on U.S. 60 involves tanker, fuel spill

A three-vehicle collision involving a fuel truck on eastbound U.S. 60 left two people injured and temporarily closed the off-ramp at McClintock Drive Thursday night in Tempe, officials said.

Three-vehicles collided on eastbound U.S. 60, closing the on-ramp at McClintock Drive and causing a small fuel leak. Authorities say two people were injured and were transported to a hospital in stable condition. A HAZMAT team is working to clean the 10 to 15 gallons of gas that spilled from the fuel truck that was involved in the collision. Drives are advised to avoid this stretch of road and the on-ramp at McClintock Drive because delays are expected.
