Tucson police are investigating a collision between one of its patrol vehicles and a pedestrian who was left seriously injured.
Around 7:40 a.m., an officer made a turn from East Broadway onto South Kolb Road and struck a man who was crossing the street. The man suffered life-threatening injuries, and the officer immediately stopped to administer first aid. The man is currently listed in stable condition. The officer and the passenger who was in the patrol car at the time were not hurt.
