Pedestrian collision closes Ina Rd. at train tracks

A train is blocking Ina Road after hitting and killing a pedestrian Saturday morning. The incident happened just before 7 a.m., Northwest Fire spokesman Adam Goldberg said in an email. Motorists should avoid the area, as officials estimate Ina will remain closed until early afternoon while Marana Police and Union Pacific Railroad representatives investigate the circumstances leading up to the crash.
