YPD identifies Avenue 3E crash victims
Officers responded to the crash Friday at 6:37 p.m. Police said the silver Ford Mustang was northbound on Avenue 3E and the white Ford F 150 was southbound on 3E when the driver of the Mustang lost control and collided with the truck.

At about 6:30 p.m. Friday, a crash occurred on South Avenue 3E, involving a Ford Mustang and a Ford F 150 pickup when the driver of the Mustang lost control and crashed with the truck. The driver of the Mustang, Julian McDaniel, 22, is currently at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix in stable condition. The deceased passenger has been identified as 20-year-old Alexander Gomes. He was transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center where he died from his injuries. The driver of the Ford F150 truck was identified as Victor Gil 29, who was treated for minor injuries.
