Rogers Woman Dies After Head-On Accident on Highway 12
The accident happened just east of Rogers near Kirk Road.

39-year-old Kara Thompson of Rogers was the passenger in an eastbound car on Highway 12 when the car crossed over the center line and crashed head-on into another car Sunday morning. Thompson was reportedly trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated before being airlifted to the Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, where she died. Two other people were transported by ambulance in unknown condition.
