According to authorities, 15-year-old Summer Ungerank of Pocahontas was killed when the 2008 Chevrolet Aveo she was riding in ran off of Bellview Road at a high speed, struck a tree, and overturned. The accident happened at 7:30 p.m.

 Damontay Wright reportedly tried to get a driver's lisence at the State Police Headquarters, but when an officer asked him about driving without a license, he got in his car and drove away. Officers chased him until he crashed into a home.

Barbara Bennett and her husband, 81-year-old Verlan Barnett, were driving near the Marion Berry Parkway Interserction when they were struck head on by a driver who crossed the centerline.

Tori Henry, a senior at Paragould High School, was driving on Johnson Avenue when a buck hit her car on the driver's side. It's antlers came through the window and hit Henry in the jaw. After a five hour long surgery, she is expected to recover.

A head-on crash in Randolph County left one dead and two injured. The crash happened south of Pocahontas on Highway 67 near Tenco Road just after 2 p.m. Wednesday. Dorothy S. Jones, 74, of Maynard died as a result of the crash.
