Little Rock traffic delayed at University Avenue as crews respond to wreck

Traffic remained delayed at University Avenue near the Interstate 630 ramps as of about 2:25 p.m. Wednesday after an accident involving at least two vehicles, Little Rock police spokesman Lt. Steve McClanahan said. Travel is expected to be impacted for "an extended period of time" in the area, the Little Rock Police Department said in a tweet at 2:17 p.m., minutes after the accident occurred. Handout photos from the scene south of Sears showed two vehicles affected: a white car with damage to its front and an overturned maroon SUV with its front windshield and a driver's side window gone. Objects near the SUV were strewn about at the I-630 westbound on-ramp on University Avenue.
