One teen was killed and another injured Sunday after an all-terrain vehicle hit a tree in El Dorado. Arkansas State Police say it happened shortly after 6 p.m. as Antquese D. Frazier, 19, operated a 2003 Yamaha ATV south on Lakeland Street near Houston Street. According to an accident report, the ATV went out of control and was overcorrected. It then hit a tree. A passenger on the vehicle, 18-year-old Shakena L. Ford of El Dorado, died from unspecified injuries. Frazier, also of El Dorado, was taken to the Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado for treatment. His condition wasn't included in the report. Conditions at the time were described as clear and dry. The death was the 102nd fatality in a vehicle crash in Arkansas so far this year, according to preliminary figures.
